As We Continue to Work
May 7, 2009
Tuesday, we went to the streets of San Antonio again and we fed well over two hundred people. We also sent a couple home…to WEST VIRGINIA! Cynthia, one of our students, was talking with this couple and found out they wanted to go back to their home in Parkersburg, West Virginia. They were here in San Antonio helping the husband’s aging grandparents that died about four months ago. The couple was out of money, and they have been living on the street for three months. I was able to take them to the Greyhound station and get them tickets back to their home. I never thought I would be able to send people back to my home state when I started this! God is pretty cool!
We are getting ready for two teams of people that are coming to the ranch and help us get things rolling for the summer. One group is going to be here for one week, and the other group is going to be here for two. They are going to help us stain builings, fix fences, repair bathrooms, work on landscaping, and of course, help in the street ministry.
It is so exciting to see what God is doing here. Every day is a walk of faith and a test of endurance, but seeing lives changed and Jesus glorified is incredible. If anyone wants to come and help us, give us a call. You can get all of our contact info by going to our website: <a href=”http://www.thegenesis
